Tape is the new paint

TAPE OVER

TAPE OVER is an international tape art crew established in Berlin since 2011. Their roots are in Berlin’s subcultural electro scene and originally started doing tape art in the city‘s vibrant electro clubs – a creative playground!

Their tape art style includes elements of street art as well as urban art, and is characterized by its versatility and fine detail. In addition, their art reflects what inspires them most – organic forms, abstract shapes, plain design, as well as visual statements.

Each artwork is a unique interpretation of their perception. They also involve the location itself to create special impact as well as to intensify the overall expression.

Fundamentally, they love to experiment. A new creation is always based on passion & creativity – that’s their understanding of art!

George Wark

We are proud to support tape artists, especially students and are very excited to be working with George Wark, who has produced an amazing piece of original art in our office.

George is a fine art student at Norwich University of the Arts. He is an abstract artist and a big part of what he does involves using tape to create work. His large wall tape drawings are very striking and have raised a lot of interest and praise from those who have seen them.

Ostap & Selfmadecrw

Tape Artist Slava Ostap makes art. Not some art, but street art. Not any kind of tape art . And that is really the finest.

In addition to his first successful successes, such as Silence Unrest or The Beast , he was able to reshape two floors of the Berlin department store Jahn as part of the GooglePlay event with his team. It glued walls and floors and thus created a completely new spatial dimension. The result was and is always impressive. It captivates the viewer and leaves much room for his own interpretations.

Working with tape means for us to discover something new, to develop new techniques, to penetrate completely into other areas and to research – but most of all we follow our artistic passion.
